Int'l forward close to deciding as Rangers eye another attacker after Skov Olsen - report
Damir Redzic is a player that Danny Rohl seemingly wants this month.
Rangers‘ transfer window is really kicking into gear now, after a relatively slow start to the winter sales at Ibrox.
Central midfielder Tochi Chukwuani became Rangers’ first signing of the Danny Rohl era, which was shortly followed by the arrival of Tuur Rommens at Ibrox from Westerlo.
Rangers aren’t done there either, as Andreas Skov Olsen’s move to Ibrox is imminent, which will further bolster Rohl’s attacking options.

Rangers brace for Damir Redzic transfer decision
Damir Redzic has also been strongly linked with Rangers, as the 22-year-old forward is enjoying an excellent season in Slovakia with DAC 1904 Dunajska Streda.
However, in a report from Hungarian news outlet BAMA (Baranya County News Portal), it is claimed that there are a host of clubs interested in acquiring Redzic’s signature, including: RB Salzburg, FC Copenhagen, Olympiacos and indeed Rangers.
And in that same report, it’s reported that the winger – who can also operate as a striker – is on the verge of deciding where his future will lie.
What would Redzic provide Rangers in attack?
One-cap Hungary international Redzic has been establishing himself as one of the best young players in Slovakian football this season.
He’s scored nine goals in 15 total appearances for Dunajska Streda, as well as providing one assist.
- Redzic signed for Streda on loan in the summer of 2023
- He signed there permanently in the summer of 2024
- Since signing permanently he’s played 36 times and scored 14 goals
He’s taken the most shots of any right winger in the Slovakian top flight (48) and has created 29 chances.
He’s also taken 91 touches in the opposition box, won 87 duels and registered a successful passing rate of 81.9 per cent.
On the face of it, this is a signing that would get Rangers fans excited. And it may well be that the Gers do not have to wait long for an answer.
