Keith Wyness: I've negotiated with David Moyes before and this is the contract Everton should offer him
Everton should tie manager David Moyes down to a new two-year contract, according to former chief executive Keith Wyness.
Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, believes that Moyes has earned the opportunity to continue as manager of the Toffees.
Moyes’ current deal expires at the end of next season, with talks over his contract situation set to take place in the summer.
The 62-year-old is enjoying his second spell on Merseyside, with Everton still in the fight for European qualification with just six games remaining this season.
There are no plans to replace Moyes at Everton, as the club continue to settle into Hill Dickinson Stadium, and grow revenue behind the scenes.

David Moyes’ new Everton contract outlined
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – knows from experience how Moyes will handle contract negotiations.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast, Wyness believes the two parties can come to an agreement quickly.

He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “I’ve had the pleasure of negotiating with David on a few contract situations.
“I know how things might go from his side, but I’ve got no idea how the Friedkins will look at it. What should happen is that David should get a 20 per cent increase. There should be another two-year contract with an option.
“There should be another new bonus structure. All those things are achievable. He’s deserved them. All parties could live with that and it could be happy. I would expect there to be a pretty quick resolution.
“That’s the sort of way I would be approaching it if I were there right now. And that’s pretty much how they’re going to be thinking about it as well.”
Everton could face challenging transfer window
Everton and Moyes could face a financial hurdle if they were to qualify for the Europa Conference League this season.
Former Manchester City financial advisor Stefan Borson told Football Insider that Everton would face the same spending restrictions as Champions League clubs.
Moyes could be restricted as to how much he could spend in the summer transfer window, with plans already in place to strengthen the squad.
A new striker and another full-back are just two of the priorities for Moyes in the summer, whilst he faces a challenge keeping hold of his star players.
