The 28-year-old Argentine defender will be a free agent in the summer and is a target for clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United. However, a report from TEAMtalk claims that Liverpool are leading the race for his signature, and they are hoping to wrap up the move in the summer.

Slot set for Marcos Senesi reunion?

The defender has played under Arne Slot at Feyenoord, and he could be keen on a reunion. Liverpool needs more depth in the defensive unit, and Senesi could be a useful addition. He is well settled in the Premier League, and he has shown his quality with the Cherries. He has the quality to play for a bigger club, and the move to Liverpool would be ideal for him at this stage of his career.

Joe Gomez could be on his way out of the club in the summer due to the lack of playing time, and the 28-year-old could replace him.
