Micky van de Ven exit news emerges as Tottenham stance shared

Micky van de Ven’s performances in an unsettled Tottenham side have not gone unnoticed.

It states that Liverpool have identifed Van de Ven as a potential replacement for Virgil van Dijk, with the hierarchy at Anfield looking to anticipate his exit ahead of time.

The Reds are reportedly willing to pay around £78million for the Dutchman, who is their top target.

However, Spurs’ stance on the matter is clear.

Tottenham’s hands could be forced by Liverpool

The report adds that Tottenham have no clear intention to let Van de Ven leave, and when taking into account his importance, that’s hardly surprising.

However, it’s also claimed that the £78million fee could prove to be too good to turn down if an offer were to come to fruition.

Van de Ven is said to be open to the transfer, and he believes that a move to Liverpool would represent a natural step in his career.

Talks are said to be still at an early stage, but Liverpool are willing to do whatever it takes to land the defender and avoid a transfer saga.
