Moyes shares why Everton star faces World Cup disappointment despite making 'huge difference'
David Moyes admits time might be running out for Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to make England’s World Cup squad, despite his superb Everton form.
The 27-year-old has been a true star for the Toffees this campaign in the heart of midfield at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
He has had the desired impact since coming in from Chelsea and has formed many positive on-field relationships on Merseyside.
That continued against Burnley last time out as the midfielder found the back of the net to help secure a first home Premier League victory since December.
Dewsbury-Hall is on a run of superb form, and with the World Cup on the horizon, Moyes has revealed his thoughts on his England squad chances.
David Moyes reveals Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall England squad chances
The former Leicester City man spent last season at Stamford Bridge and was hardly given a chance to showcase his talents.
A move to L4 has given him a chance to do exactly that, and he has taken the opportunity with both hands this campaign.

His form has thrown him into the spotlight, with many suggesting that Dewsbury-Hall is good enough to play for England.
The World Cup kicks off this summer, and there may be hope for the midfielder that he can take a seat on the plane to North America.
Unfortunately, Everton boss Moyes feels as if the tournament may come too soon for the 27-year-old’s Three Lions chances.
Speaking on talkSPORT, he said: “He’s played really well, and he’s made a huge difference for us. Kiernan has made as big a difference as anybody. We wanted goals from midfield, and he’s played really well.
“I wouldn’t have thought he was a million miles off the group of England players. The World Cup might come a bit quickly, but who knows what happens after that? If he keeps doing as well as he’s doing, he won’t be too far away from it.”
Everton to benefit from Dewsbury-Hall England snub
In a strange way, Dewsbury-Hall missing out on the World Cup squad could ignite a fire in the midfielder’s belly.
He has netted six and assisted three in the Premier League this season, which is an impressive tally in just 22 appearances from midfield.
That could take a step up with nine games remaining, especially if he discovers that his England chances have been squashed ahead of the World Cup.

Moving into the new campaign, he could have a massive point to prove to Thomas Tuchel with the hope of making it into a squad further down the line.
That could be beneficial to the Toffees while they potentially prepare for a European tour if all goes to plan in the coming weeks.
