Neil Warnock drops 'unbelievable' Rangers verdict after what Wilfried Nancy said last night
Neil Warnock has claimed that the spotlight on Rangers and Celtic in Scotland is “unbelievable” after both clubs struggled in Europe on Thursday.
Rangers fell to a 2-1 defeat to Ferencvaros, which essentially ended their hopes of reaching the next stage.
However, they were not the only side who struggled, with Celtic being battered 3-0 against Roma at home.
It has been a difficult start for Wilfried Nancy, who has now lost both of his matches since being appointed at the Old Firm club.
Now, Warnock has given his take on the situation up in Scotland.

Neil Warnock: You can’t be flippant at Celtic or Rangers
Roma had already come to Glasgow earlier this season.
Rangers lost 2-0 at Ibrox to the Serie A outfit, in what was a disappointing display.
However, it was not nearly as bad as Celtic’s performance as they were completely outplayed and ended up 3-0 down at half-time.
While Nancy’s side managed to prevent further humiliation at Celtic Park in the second half, it was still an awful display and result.
- Rangers are all-but out of the Europa League after losing to Ferencvaros
- It has left the Gers one point, six off 24th with two games left to play
- However, Celtic are not doing much better, with the defeat to Roma leaving them 24th
Speaking to talkSPORT on 12 December, former Aberdeen manager Warnock was quick to criticise the new Celtic boss.
He said: “Up there, the spotlight on Rangers and Celtic is unbelievable. You can’t be flippant, he was almost flippant – ‘I’ll do it my way, and I’m not bothered about this’. You’ve got to care.
“Like Ferguson said, they didn’t look like they knew what they were doing, did they? And it is horrible to say that when you have been a manager, because I think we have all been in that situation, but why change something?”

When are the remaining Old Firm derbies set to take place this season?
Given Celtic’s current struggles, many of the Ibrox faithful will be looking forward to the upcoming Old Firm derbies.
The last one was disappointing as Rangers crashed out of the Premier Sports Cup to Celtic in extra time.
However, given that Rohl has had more time to work with his squad since then and that the hoops’ form has crashed under Nancy, there is now a golden chance to get revenge.
The next Old Firm derby is set to take place in the new year, with Celtic Park hosting the match on 3 January.
After that, the derby will return to Ibrox on 1 March, in what could be a key game for Champions League qualification, or even the title.
There is also a chance there could be an Old Firm match between these fixtures if the two sides meet in the Scottish Cup.
