Rangers ace likes Instagram post as Premier League outfit confirm new signing

Rangers striker Danilo has taken to social media with just days remaining in the January transfer window.

Danilo’s time looks to be up at Rangers after Danny Rohl’s side continue to go in search of new striker options this winter.

The Brazilian has fallen out of favour at Ibrox, something which saw Danilo transfer-listed by Rohl at Rangers earlier this month.

It looks as if Ryan Naderi could come in at Rangers to replace the 26-year-old, with a last-gasp deal potentially on the cards.

That could be helped by the departure of Danilo, with the forward now taking to social media after a Premier League move was completed.

Danilo reacts as Aston Villa deal done

Danilo is seemingly ready to depart Rangers with a loan move potentially looking more likely before the window ends on Monday.

The Brazilian’s exit would see an extremely busy window continue for the Light Blues, with plenty of ins and outs already confirmed.

Three incoming signings could soon become four if Naderi, something which would likely come off the back of a sale.

Rangers January signings

It had been a quiet window at Aston Villa until this week, with two signings sparking their January business into life.

The Villans brought in Tammy Abraham earlier in the week and then completed the loan signing of Douglas Luiz on Wednesday.

The midfielder took to Instagram as the signing was confirmed, with the message, “It was always home” shared in his latest post.

This was liked by Rangers ace Danilo, who could soon mirror his fellow countryman in making a January switch.

Danilo destined for Rangers exit in January

It feels increasingly likely that the man signed from Feyenoord is going to be making his way out of Govan this winter.

Naderi wants to leave Hansa Rostock, and the Light Blues want him, so that appears to be the perfect match in January, especially with Sofascore highlighting his biggest strengths.

That only spells bad news for Danilo, who looks to have played his final game for Rangers this season, should a move go through before deadline day.

Having scored just three goals this season, it hardly comes as a surprise, but it won’t make things easier for the Brazilian.

He can take a leaf out of Luiz’s book at Villa, who has shown how much joy can emerge from a transfer after a difficult spell at a club.
