Rangers could sign Leeds star on loan as late contingency emerges from 49ers - report
Rangers will explore a move to bring in Leeds United striker Joel Piroe if one of their other deals falls through.
Danny Rohl’s side have had a busy transfer window so far, and are still looking to strengthen as the deadline closes in.
Rangers beat Dundee 3-0 last Sunday and have now moved within four points of Hearts, who currently sit top of the Scottish Premiership.
The Gers have a real chance of winning their first title in five years, but still need to improve their attacking options to give them the best chance of success.

Rangers plan for Joel Piroe loan
Rangers are working on a deal to sign Ryan Naderi from German third division outfit Hansa Rostock, and the 22-year-old has already submitted a transfer request.
However, Florian Plettenberg is reporting that Rostock, who have already rejected one bid from Rohl’s side, are still not allowing the striker to leave.
The Gers have a contingency plan though, and Piroe will become one of their top targets if the deal for Naderi does fall through.
Rangers would bring the Suriname international in on loan until the end of the season in the hope that he will aid their title push.
Both the Gers and Leeds are owned by 49ers Enterprises, which should allow for smooth negotiations between the two clubs.
Rangers can give Joel Piroe new lease of life
Piroe was the Championship Golden Boot winner last season, scoring 19 league goals as Leeds won the title and secured promotion to the Premier League.
However, the 26-year-old has had very few chances to impress this term, starting just two Premier League games for Daniel Farke’s side.
Piroe is yet to find the back of the net in any competition this season, and is clearly a player low on confidence.

He has shown in the past that he is a natural finisher though, and could rediscover his goalscoring spark at Rangers under Rohl.
