Rangers are unlikely to have Mikey Moore after his loan spell from Tottenham ends.

Daily Record journalist Andy Newport believes that, as things stand, the English youngster will probably go back to Spurs at the end of the season.

It’s been claimed that the Gers may need to table an enticing offer to the North London outfit to have any chance of getting the 18-year-old back in the summer.

Danny Rohl has relied on Moore in recent months, with the teenager often pulling the strings in the final third for the Glaswegian outfit, but the German manager may have to find a replacement at the end of the campaign.

Speaking on the Daily Record on 24 March, Newport said, “Right now, the likelihood is I think he’ll go back to Spurs. I think Rangers would have to put a really attractive sales pitch to get him back.”

Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show on 23 March, the Scot said, “I’m sure Rangers are going to try their utmost to try and get him back to Ibrox next season. What you don’t want to see is the young man going back to Tottenham and wasting away and sitting on the bench and getting five and 10 minutes here.”

Against Aberdeen on 21 March, the Spurs loanee stood out, finding the back of the net in the 4-1 win at Ibrox, and he’s only made a case for his return to Govan stronger with consistently clutch performances.
