Report shares possible number of Jan signings as Moyes and Everton agree on transfers
Everton are expected to sign at least two or three new players in the winter transfer window.
Sources at the Toffees have revealed that David Moyes hopes for new transfers at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, but it remains to be seen who they’ll target.
The Friedkin Group pulled off a coup by signing Jack Grealish in the summer, and all eyes will once again be on the American owners at the Blues.
It’s clear that the Scottish manager needs more depth amid Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gueye’s absence and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s injury, and the recruitment strategy has been set.

Everton to target multiple loan signings in January
There’s alignment between Moyes and the Toffees’ recruitment department that there’s little point spending a significant sum on squad players in January, according to The i Paper.
The news outlet reports on 29 December that the Blues are likely to sign a few players on loan to cover gaps in the team at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
It’s been claimed that due to the current market’s high prices and very little value, the Merseyside outfit are looking to pursue loan deals, with “two or three” new arrivals anticipated in the coming weeks.
TFG are expected to go again in the summer transfer window to invest in long-term options in L4.
Grealish’s permanent transfer to the Hill Dickinson Stadium may require negotiations with Manchester City, but the England international is keen to stay beyond this season.
David Moyes frustration expected with latest January transfer stance
Moyes hasn’t been able to rely on Beto and Thierno Barry, and the Scottish manager will undoubtedly be hoping to get a quality striker in January.
Considering the latest update at Everton, it seems like the 62-year-old head coach is going to be frustrated with his goalscoring options for the rest of the season.
It would be surprising to see a capable number nine sign for the Merseyside outfit on loan midway through the season.
With Moyes clearly stuck with Beto and Barry, the fight for a European place in the Premier League becomes challenging.
