Revealed: The favourite for Premier League relegation
The Premier League relegation battle will go down to the wire between Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
That is according to ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, as the bookies’ latest odds see the fight being “very close” between the two London clubs.
West Ham are currently in the relegation zone on goal difference, behind Nottingham Forest in 17th place, with Spurs just a point in front of both clubs.
Spurs are on an 11-game winless run in the league, with the club contemplating sacking manager Igor Tudor after just four matches in charge.

Tottenham fans ‘have got to rally round’ players in survival bid
Everton’s former chief Keith Wyness – who served as CEO at Goodison Park between 2004 and 2009 and now runs a football consultancy advising elite clubs – states that West Ham have the “momentum” to stay up.
Speaking on the new edition of Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast, Wyness thinks the fans and the media “are not helping” Spurs.
He told Football Insider‘s Inside Track podcast: “Now believe it or not, I know that we as chief executives, we were supposed to be, you know, a finger on the pulse and know everything ourselves, but often we would genuinely look at the bookies odds because they have pretty sophisticated models, as you can imagine, to give the odds.
“And when I looked at it this morning, West Ham were 13 to eight, and then second, we had Spurs at seven to four and Nottingham Forest are a bit further out at 11 to 4. So the bookies see it between West Ham and Spurs and it being very, very close.
“We saw West Ham winning in the FA Cup, and they’re the team with momentum, as we’ve discussed before, and I think that’s interesting. And Spurs are the ones without momentum and with the media on their backs big time, the fans on their backs. It’s really not helping and that’s why I’m saying the fans have got to rally round.”

Spurs must consider Igor Tudor sack
Wyness told Football Insider that Spurs sacking Tudor as manager may give them more hope of staying in the Premier League.
Tudor may have already lost the support of the Spurs fanbase, with the 47-year-old having also been criticised for substituting goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky off after only 17 minutes against Atletico Madrid.
Spurs have confirmed that Tudor will take his pre-match press conference as normal before their next game at Liverpool.
