Richarlison contract situation examined as Tottenham exit mooted
Richarlison could leave Tottenham Hotspur in the near future.
The Brazilian signed for Spurs in 2022, but he has played just 126 matches for the club since the £60million deal was completed.
He has notched 30 goals and 14 assists in those matches, with injury issues holding him back from reaching his full potential in North London.
Richarlison has been heavily linked with a Tottenham exit in the last few transfer windows, but so far he has remained on the books.

Who has tipped Richarlison to leave Tottenham?
John Wenham has tipped Richarlison to leave Tottenham in the summer.
The Spurs expert believes that while Igor Tudor should utilise the former Everton man more in the run-in to try and avoid relegation, he should still depart in the summer.
Stats Richarlison this season (Premier League) Matches 25 Starts 14 Goals 9 Assists 3 Minutes played 1,437
Speaking exclusively to Tottenham News earlier this month, he said: “I still think it’s best for all parties if he leaves in the summer, but hopefully he can leave, having kept us in the division.”
What is Richarlison’s contract situation?
Richarlison signed a five-year contract when he joined the Lilywhites in 2022, which is set to run until June 30, 2027.
He is understood to be on around £90,000-per-week in N17, which is around £4.6million on an annual basis.
Therefore, he could stand to earn over £5m before his deal runs out, if he does not sign an extension to remain with the 2024-25 Europa League winners beyond his current stay.

There have been no talks about a potential extension, but the club do have the option to extend his deal until 2028, per The Times.
Where could Richarlison go?
Richarlison has been constantly linked with a return to Everton, and he has added fuel to the fire by posting Toffees-related content on his Instagram account.
America’s Major League Soccer has also been touted as a potential destination for the 28-year-old, with Orlando City believed to have tried to sign him last summer.
He could also return to Brazil, with Flamengo understood to be keen on securing his services.
Saudi Arabian clubs are also keen, but the 54-cap international’s preference is understood to be staying in Europe.
It remains to be seen what happens, but the player and the club will surely be focused on the relegation battle at the moment, rather than his future beyond the end of the season.
