'Significant' development could tempt PL club into doing business with Rangers - report
Rangers have an update to their chances of luring Romaine Mundle to Ibrox in the winter transfer window.
Everything is looking up for Danny Rohl and the Glasgow giants, who are on a run of six straight wins across all competitions and firmly in the Scottish Premiership title race.
The Gers have also been active in the transfer market, with Tochi Chukwuani, Tuur Rommens and Andreas Skov Olsen all joining Rangers this month.
Rohl’s side are still eager to complete more business before the window shuts, though, in order to help them beat Hearts and Celtic to the title.

Rangers receive blow in pursuit of Romaine Mundle
Rangers have been targeting Sunderland attacker Romaine Mundle for a number of weeks now, in the hopes of bolstering their forward line.
The 22-year-old has started just one Premier League game for Regis Le Bris’ side all season, with the likes of Simon Adingra and Enzo Le Fee ahead of him in the pecking order.
However, Mundle has been more involved in recent weeks, playing the full 120 minutes against Everton in the FA Cup and earning himself his maiden top-flight start against Crystal Palace last Saturday.
As a result, according to the Sunderland Echo, the Black Cats are keen to keep hold of the young forward.

Le Bris’ side will not let Mundle leave unless they make “significant” additions of their own, in order to replace the 22-year-old.
Sunderland have already loaned out six players to clubs outside of England, there is confusion as to whether an exit to Ibrox could even be granted if not on a permanent basis.
Who else are Rangers targeting before window closes?
Despite a busy transfer window so far, the Gers are still looking to make more additions to their squad before the deadline.
Rangers look primed to sign Borussia Monchengladbach forward Tomas Cvancara on loan until the end of the season, but the Czech international has now agreed personal terms with Celtic instead.
After losing out to their Glasgow rivals, Rohl’s side are having to look elsewhere, and are reportedly keeping tabs on Motherwell midfielder Elliot Watt.
Watt scored in Motherwell’s 2-0 win over Celtic back at the end of December, and already has six Scottish Premiership goal contributions this season.
However, the Gers are unlikely to get that deal done in the winter window and may have to wait until the summer to secure the 25-year-old.
