Thomas Frank’s days are numbered as Tottenham manager.

Tottenham came from behind to secure a 2-2 draw against Man City on Sunday afternoon, with Dominic Solanke scoring both of the goals.

The performance in the second half perhaps warranted more, but after yet another home encounter without a win, that will do nothing to distract from the major concerns that are still growing.

Frank could easily have been sacked weeks ago in North London, but after a new image that surfaced from the clash with Man City, that decision may now only be hours away.

Vinai Venkatesham spotted at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Standing alongside Peter Charrington, Vinai Venkatesham was in attendance to watch Tottenham secure a point against Manchester City, but also struggle to compete for the first 45 minutes.

Venkatesham was appointed as Tottenham CEO in the summer, following his exit from Arsenal.

His appearance may prove to be nothing, but it could also signal that a change is expected at Tottenham in the shape of Frank.

The Dane has showcased time and time again that he doesn’t have what it takes to take this club to the next level, and with Spurs now having won just two of their 12 home games this season, a decision could be imminent.

Roberto De Zerbi is one of the frontrunners for the Tottenham job should Frank depart, which feels like an inevitability sooner rather than later.

Thomas Frank is heading for the same fate as Ange Postecoglou

Ange Postecoglou almost got Tottenham relegated last season, and had it not been for such a lack of quality at the bottom of the table, those fears would have been stronger.

However, he also delivered a Europa League trophy, and still faced the sack from Daniel Levy.

After 24 games last season, Spurs had 27 points, which is only two fewer than they have now, and actually had one more win.

That domestic form is not sustainable for Tottenham, and is the sole reason that Frank is at risk of the sack.

Usually, a draw against Man City would be a good result, especially after going 2-0 down, but until Tottenham start winning their games at home, that will never be the feeling.
