View: Cavenagh proves his Rangers love after scenes more than 3,000 miles away

Andrew Cavenagh’s love for Rangers cannot be doubted after scenes more than 3,000 miles away.

The American businessman invested in the Ibrox club alongside the 49ers Enterprises group back in May 2025, and he has regularly endeared himself to supporters.

He has constantly been seen at the iconic Glasgow stadium and at away matches, in the new ownership group’s first campaign in charge.

However, he was not at the Falkirk Stadium on 12 April as Danny Rohl‘s side produced a thrilling comeback; he was in the United States, watching along.

Cavenagh has proven that he has taken Rangers into his heart, and the latest scenes only serve to confirm that idea.

Where was Cavenagh spotted watching Rangers win?

Cavenagh has constantly pledged to act in the best interests of Rangers, and he was quick to admit that hiring Russell Martin was a mistake after he was dismissed after the last away match with Falkirk in October.

He chose to stay in his homeland on this occasion, watching with the Philly Loyal Rangers Supporters’ Club in O’Neals Pub in Philadelphia.

Cavenagh watched the Gers keep their title dreams alive with the 6-3 win, with the game kicking off at 7am on the East Coast of America, showing his dedication to the Bears.

He was pictured with fans inside the bar where they watched the contest.

Why Cavenagh will have one Rangers regret

The ParetoHealth chief and the rest of the ownership group will regret the fact that they did not appoint Rohl in the summer, rather than the disastrous Martin.

The German has taken the most points in the Scottish Premiership since he was appointed, by a considerable margin.

Therefore, it is likely that he would have had the Light Blues firmly at the top of the pile already if he had been in the role all season, rather than starting in October.

Cavenagh and Co will pray that his side can get the job done anyway, so they are not left to rue their mistake.

Given his clear feeling towards the club, he will be devastated if that is the reason why the G51 side misses out on the championship in May by a few points.
