Barry’s struggles at Everton haven’t been encouraging, but they wouldn’t want to discard the striker just yet after spending a hefty sum on him.

Franculino’s arrival arguably wouldn’t threaten either Barry or Beto’s immediate future at the Merseyside outfit, simultaneously providing more depth and competition in the attack.
