View: Everton standout will leave little doubt as England make World Cup squad release announcement
Everton‘s James Garner has made a clear case to be in England’s World Cup squad this summer.
The midfielder has had a standout campaign with the Toffees and is primed to have a clean sweep of awards at the end of the season.
David Moyes has brought out the best of the former Manchester United man, who has been vital in giving the Blues hope of qualifying for Europe.
The 25-year-old received his maiden England call-up in March, and not only played in both of England’s matches, but started in the 1-1 draw against Uruguay.
Tuchel seems to be a fan of Garner, and it would be no surprise to him a confirmed as a part of the squad that heads to North America this summer.

England make World Cup squad announcement
Everything is going Garner’s way for an England call-up at the moment, and should he finish the season with the Toffees in a strong manner, he will be all but there.
The midfielder has taken his game up another level this season, adding creativity and ruthlessness in the final third of the pitch, something which he needed to improve previously.

As seen in the table above, Garner has all the makings to play an effective part for the Three Lions, as Tuchel looks to include new names in his squad this year.
England announced this Friday that they will release their squad for the World Cup on Friday, 22 May, but there should be no doubt over Garner’s inclusion.
Moyes has already admitted that his star player deserves it, and a call-up would only benefit the Toffees greatly.
Let’s just hope that if he does get the nod and play a starring role in North America, that he stays with Everton for at least another season.
Garner’s two England appearances in detail
As mentioned earlier, Garner was given a start in England’s 1-1 draw at Wembley against Uruguay, before picking up 19 minutes off the bench in a 1-0 loss to Japan.
Tuchel also played Jordan Henderson, Kobbie Mainoo, and Elliott Anderson in the defensive midfield roles for these games, but Garner picked up high praise from the English media.
The Everton star had an average FotMob rating of 7.2, with a combined 89 per cent passing accuracy from the matches.

He created four chances in the draw to Uruguay, the same as Cole Palmer, Phil Foden, and Marcus Rashford had combined.
At this point, it would be a shock if Garner isn’t named in the England squad later this month.
