View: Everton star who was caught in hostile full-time scenes vs Chelsea may now push exit
Thierno Barry’s future at Everton now looks bleak following the boos that were directed at him after the 3-0 win over Chelsea last Saturday.
The Frenchman was spotted heading straight for the tunnel after the full-time whistle against Chelsea, which prompted some Blues fans to boo him.
Everton fans have spoken about this on social media, with some suggesting that it’s now hard for him to find a way back into the hearts of some Evertonians.
The hostile reaction has been fueled after the striker posted footage of some Toffees fans allegedly attacking a group of his friends who were sitting in the away end during the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal.
Everton only signed Barry this summer, and given that he has lost some of the Everton fans already, an exit may be best for all parties.

Would Everton cash in after Thierno Barry drama?
There was a police investigation after Barry’s post with both Merseyside and Metropolitan police as well as Everton looking into the matter.
David Moyes briefly touched on the incident in his pre-match press conference for the Chelsea game, admitting that the club spoke to the player.
Stat Beto Thierno Barry Shots on target per ga,e 0.4 0.3 Goals 6 6 xG 7.17 6.14 Dribble success 30.6% 30.8% Big chances missed 8 9
But Barry was always seen as a development signing who could grow alongside the club. Moyes knew he was never going to be an instant hit at Hill Dickinson despite the striker costing £27.5million.
However, if things continue to go the way they have over the last seven league games of the season, the Friedkin Group may have their hands forced this summer.

There’s no doubt that they’ll not be paying much attention to a few boo’s now, but it could all depend on how Barry reacts moving forward.
If he responds positively, things may be swept under the rug, regardless of who was right or wrong in this incident.
Has Barry’s transfermarkt increased?
Everton may have to pay Villarreal another £7.5m in bonuses, should Barry meet performance and club-related add-ons.
It’s not known what specific conditions will trigger said add-ons, but for all we know, the Toffees may not have sent any extra money to the La Liga side as of yet.
As highlighted by Transfermarkt, Barry’s current value is at £25m, a £2.5m decrease on what the Toffees intially spent for his signature.
Now, several reasons could affect this, but the main one is the lack of goals compared to the number of starts that he’s had.
It doesn’t seem to bad in the grand scheme of things, but this is the modern-day situation around transfers in football.
Everton would be wise to keep him on their books, especially if things calm down, but that’s not a guarantee at this stage.
