View: Everton surely prepare for star's summer exit after latest recruitment plans
Everton fans are finally seeing the vintage best of Beto as he started against Burnley in the Premier League on Tuesday.
The Guinea-Bissau striker was in the starting lineup for the second consecutive game as the Toffees beat the Clarets 2-0 at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
David Moyes now seems to prefer the 28-year-old over Thierno Barry in recent matches and his faith in the former Udinese ace has paid off.
While Beto and the French youngster finally look to be finding their feet at the Merseyside outfit in the crunch part of the season, David Moyes will surely still want to see The Friedkin Group bolster the number nine position in the summer.

Raul Jimenez the backup striker Everton may need
Fulham striker Raul Jimenez is being linked with a move to Everton, with the Mexico international’s current contract expiring at the end of the season.
After the 2026 World Cup, the 34-year-old has every intention to remain in the Premier League and the Toffees have emerged as a potential landing spot if his deal at Craven Cottage isn’t extended.
Jimenez’s arrival on a free transfer to Hill Dickinson Stadium would be a no-brainer considering Moyes has just two natural number nines at his disposal right now.
The veteran centre-forward has continued to find the back of the net for Fulham in the English top flight in recent seasons, and he could bring that quality and experience to the Blues.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see the Mexican striker demand a few guarantees about his game time in Merseyside, which may lead to some tough conversations with the likes of Beto.
Raul Jimenez and Alexander Sorloth to open exit door for Beto
Atletico Madrid striker Alexander Sorloth is also on Everton’s radar, with TFG acknowledging that they will need to spend a hefty sum on a new number nine in the coming months.
If the Toffees can get a deal over the line for both Jimenez and the Norway international, that could potentially leave the door open for Beto’s exit.
Competition Appearances Goals Assists LaLiga 25 9 0 Champions League 9 5 1 Copa del Rey 3 0 0 Supercopa 1 1 0
The Guinea-Bissau forward’s inconsistency this season may be a reason why the Blues could possibly look to part ways with him.
Moyes will certainly want a competitive team if he qualifies for Europe, and the Scottish manager should have lofty plans about the makeup of his squad for the 2026-27 campaign.
