View: Lewis family have Daniel Levy cornered as experts share £3bn Tottenham estimation
Almost five months on from his exit, Daniel Levy is still being mentioned at Tottenham.
Tottenham’s downfall has been ongoing for well over a year now, and a lot of it started because of the decisions made by Levy.
That regression has continued since his exit in September, with Thomas Frank potentially set to be the first manager sacked by the Lewis family if results don’t improve.
However, that isnt the only decision to be made by the new ownership, with one still to be made in regard to buying Levy out of Spurs.

Daniel Levy unlikely to receive desired Tottenham earnings
Levy stepped down as Executive Chairman of Tottenham back at the start of September, ending any real involvement that he had with the North Londoners.
However, he still owns a stake in Tottenham, but is believed to be in advanced negotiations to sell that to the Lewis family.
Levy and his family own 29.88 per cent of ENIC Sports, which is the majority owner of Spurs, meaning the former Chairman has an indirect stake of around 26 per cent.
He wanted to receive around £1billion for that stake upon selling it, having valued the club at £3.5bn back in 2023, but a report from the Telegraph states that experts now value the Premier League outfit at around £3bn.
As for who would buy the remaining stake from Levy, that would again be the Lewis family, but the report adds that they are in no rush to do so, leaving him with a dilemma.

The report adds: “Some would argue they have him exactly where they want him: unable to sell a stake in the business that he considered his life’s work and which he will have hoped would one day make him very wealthy.”
The Lewis family now must show they have what it takes
Levy’s decisions at the top of the food chain were the catalyst for Tottenham‘s regression.
Not only managerial appointments, but also recruitment. The latter of which also led to a lot of scutiny for the North Londoners.
If things are to be turned around, which, at the current moment in time, looks unlikely, these decisions have to be avoided in the future, and that is the responsibility that will lie at the feet of the Lewis family, and in particular, Joe Lewis.
With Levy out of the picture and no one else to blame, they need to show that they have what it takes to make the decisions needed for progression.
