View: Ndiaye in line to benefit if £20m Everton agreement struck

Jack Grealish remains a target for Everton, and his arrival may actually benefit Iliman Ndiaye.

The future of Grealish has been up in the air for some time now, with the on-loan Toffees star having suffered a season-ending injury a few months ago.

Everton are said to have already looked into possible avenues ahead of the summer transfer window, with all parties keen on a reunion.

However, Grealish’s potential return to Everton would not only benefit them but also Ndiaye, who has somewhat suffered in his absence.

Iliman Ndiaye to return to favoured position with Jack Grealish signing

Ndiaye has once again been the star of this season’s Everton team, and without him, they would not be in the European conversation with seven games to go.

The Senegal international has six goals and three assists for the Blues in the Premier League, with his most recent coming in the 3-0 win over Chelsea.

However, the one concern that Everton may have is that six of those nine involvements have come when he has played on the right flank, while only two of them have come from the left.

Typically, Grealish’s inclusion would allow Ndiaye to feature on his favoured side of the pitch, but his absence has forced him over.

If Everton can strike an agreement with Man City for the permanent signing of Grealish, who could cost in the region of £20million, then it would allow Ndiaye to feature there far more often.

Everton priority clear regardless of Grealish outcome

The main priority this summer will be to sign a striker, and one who is capable of scoring goals regularly.

However, the second priority will be to sign a left-winger, with Everton severely lacking in that area of the pitch.

Dwight McNeil, Tyler Dibling and Ndiaye are all at their best on the right, while very few have shown their capability on the opposite side.

Whether it be Grealkish or not, that will need to be addressed.
