View: Rangers could get fired up star vs Dundee United as he quits international camp
Rangers have reportedly requested that Bojan Miovski leaves North Macedonia’s international camp early, and it’s understood that this has been accepted.
The 26-year-old hasn’t had the debut season at Ibrox he would’ve quite been hoping for, as he’s started just 13 of his 24 Scottish Premiership appearances.
Without a goal since netting in the 8-0 Scottish Cup win over Queen’s Park on 8 February, Rangers waved off Miovski for his international duties this week with the hope he’d come back having enjoyed his time away.
Danny Rohl is going to need as many of his players on form as possible as we enter the final weeks of the campaign, with Gers’ sights on beating Hearts and Celtic to the title.
Rangers take on Dundee United when the season resumes on 4 April, and they may well have a fired up Miovski for that game to boot.

What has happened with Bojan Miovski and North Macedonia?
Miovski was benched for Macedonia’s game against Denmark on Thursday night, which saw his side defeated 4-0, as their dreams of making this summer’s World Cup went up in smoke.
He did come on after 64 minutes, but could do little to turn the tide at that point, with the Macedonians already trailing 3-0 by that stage.

That will no doubt have angered him, as it leaves Macedonia having to play a friendly on Tuesday night against the Republic of Ireland: a game that neither side probably have very little enthusiasm about playing.
However, it appears that Miovski will be spared from having to take part in that match, and he has Rangers to thank for it.
As per a post on X from Macedonian journalist Filip Mishov on Saturday, the striker is now on his way back to Glasgow after Rangers requested that he could be released from the Macedonia camp early following that aforementioned defeat.
Mishov’s report claims that this request has been granted by the Macedonian football federation, as well as approved by the player himself.
Miovski recall could be shrewd move by Rangers
By going out of their way to bring Miovski back early, Rangers could have just performed a very clever piece of man-management ahead of their title run-in.
It sends a message to Miovski that he’s valued and firmly in Rohl’s thinking, and could possibly light a fire in him to repay that faith.
Not only that, it allows Rangers to get some extra rest into his legs ahead of a crucial few weeks, and also perhaps says to Youssef Chermiti: ‘you’re not guaranteed to start’.

The Portuguese youth international might see this as Rohl possibly planning to bring Miovski into the starting lineup over him, and if so, might in turn fuel his fire to show that would be the wrong move.
It’s a clever call that could bring the best out of both strikers, as we await to see what Rohl has planned with this Miovski rescue mission in mind.
