View: Rangers star will surely play if he's fit vs Celtic after what Rohl's seen at Ibrox
Danny Rohl may be thinking about bringing Connor Barron back into the Rangers starting lineup against Celtic in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup on Sunday.
Martin O’Neill’s team will return to Ibrox on 8 March, a week after their comeback in Govan in the William Hill Premiership.
The Light Blues dominated their Old Firm rivals in the first half of the 2-2 draw but completely lost control after the break to allow Kieran Tierney and Reo Hatate to score.
Despite bringing on Mohamed Diomande for Ryan Naderi at around the hour mark, Rohl’s team were dominated in the middle of the park for most of the second half, and eventually dropped two crucial points.

Nicolas Raskin place in Rangers starting lineup at risk after Celtic draw
Nicolas Raskin has been a key player for the Gers this season, especially since Russell Martin’s exit.
The Belgium international arguably hasn’t hit his peak this season, but his performances in recent weeks have been impressive.
While the 24-year-old seems to be back to his best, Rohl will be concerned about what he saw from the former Standard Liege star at Ibrox in the Old Firm draw, with his Sofascore graphic below not a pretty read.
Raskin was defensively suspect at times against Celtic, losing two of his five ground duels and one aerial duel, committing one foul, being dribbled past once and picking up a yellow card.

The midfielder was also sloppy on the ball, completing just 69 per cent of his passes and losing possession 12 times at Ibrox.
Connor Barron injury situation at Ibrox
Rohl confirmed that Barron was progressing well and was on track to return to training a few weeks back.
On 20 February, the German manager said, “I think next week he could be part of the training session. Yeah, he looks good, he pushed, hopefully he puts everything in now and maybe in two weeks [he could be back] as well.”
If Rohl’s comments are anything to go by, the Scotland international could be back in action against Celtic, and he may return in place of Raskin, with the 23-year-old averaging two tackles, recovering 4.2 balls and making 1.1 clearances per game in the William Hill Premiership, as per Sofascore.
The former Sheffield Wednesday boss seems to trust Barron in the middle of the park, and it will be interesting to see if he makes any changes for the second Old Firm derby.
