View: Rangers will fear losing Mikey Moore but replacement is already at Ibrox
Findlay Curtis’ game time at Rangers was limited this season thanks to the emergence of loanee Mikey Moore.
In the end, Curtis had to depart on loan himself, joining Kilmarnock, as he sought more game time to improve his qualities.
Since then, the 19-year-old has played in every Scottish Premiership game possible for Killie.
The Rangers academy ace could now be set for an increased role ahead of next season, with the wide options, other than Moore, often failing to live up to expectations.
However, with Moore’s loan coming to an end after this season and signs that an extension of that deal could prove difficult, Curtis could be Rangers’ solution.

The latest breaking news on signings, departures, and Danny Röhl’s primary targets.
Why Findlay Curtis is primed to takeover from Mikey Moore next season
Curtis could save Rangers from having to dive deep into the market as they look to replace the loss of Moore next season.
Moore looks likely to return to Tottenham, and that would leave a gaping hole in the Gers’ attack. However, Curtis may be the perfect void filler.
Mikey Moore in the SPFL 25-26 Total xG (Goals) 4.38 (6) Big chances created 7 Key passes per game 1.2
As shown by the DataMB graph below, Curtis places well above his fellow Rangers wingers in terms of expected goals per 90; however, his lack of experience is evident through his output.
In fact, among wingers in Scotland, the Rangers starlet comes second in xG per 90.
Curtis is clearly a raw talent with plenty to prove in Govan, but if the Gers were willing to put trust into a loan star such as Moore, betting on one of your own does not seem like a step too far.
With the right coaching, training and man management, Curtis could shine out wide for the Bears and become a goal-scoring winger the Ibrox side desperately needs.

The data showcases that Curtis is clearly getting into excellent goalscoring positions every game, hence his high xG total.
At a side like Rangers, who are on the front foot far more often, that could see his numbers skyrocket next season as well.
Overall, there is plenty to be excited about when it comes to Curtis, and his breakthrough as a regular must not be too far away.
Findlay Curtis remains on the ‘right track’
As speculation swirled about Curtis in the recent winter window, Danny Rohl faced questions over the decision to loan the young winger out.
Rohl reiterated that he felt the talent was on the “right track” and that the decision to send him out to Kilmarnock was simply about “game time.”

The move has been working for all parties, as Curtis has got plenty of minutes away from Ibrox.
He has remained heading in the correct direction and that will only further his reputation in the mind of the Rangers manager.
