View: Rohl name-drops Rangers player who may play crucial role after Naderi injury

Rangers have Bojan Miovski to rely on after Ryan Naderi picked up an injury at Ibrox.

Danny Rohl name-dropped the North Macedonia international while discussing the injury blow to the former Hansa Rostock striker.

Speaking to Sky Sports Scotland on 10 April, Rohl said, “It’s a shame for [Naderi]. I think he worked really hard. I think a lot of good stuff off the ball. Even some running sometimes you don’t recognise his hard work for the group. Then he scored. That’s football. We need everyone in the squad and it was a good step for Bojan to come in and score.”

Chermiti replaced Naderi at half-time against Dundee United and failed to take his chances.

The Tangerines could have potentially equalised when the game was 3-2 after hitting the woodwork, but Miovski subsequently scored at the other end.

While the Portuguese striker has shown he’s a reliable outlet in the big games against Hearts and Celtic, his general wastefulness puts him at risk of losing his starting spot.
