Why Rafiu Durosinmi is a winner in Pisa’s brutal 6-2 loss to Inter Milan
Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi is set to get more playing time at Inter Milan, after an incident in their 6-2 bashing at Inter Milan on Friday, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Nigerian striker started from the bench for his Pisa side when they travelled to Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
After storming to a two-goal lead in 25 minutes, courtesy of goals from Stefano Moreo, the Black and Blues fell like a pack of cards. They conceded three goals in the last seven minutes of the half.
Then, in the second half, they conceded another three to ensure that the game ended in a 6-2 win for Inter Milan.
Pisa's two Nigerian players - Ebenezer Akinsanmiro and Durosinmi - started from the bench, but they later joined in the action.

Akinsanmiro was introduced into the game during the break. But Durosinmi was brought in way earlier, after first-choice striker Henrik Meister suffered an injury.
Recall that Durosinmi is currently on loan from Inter Milan. So, it was an emotional game for him, as he would have been under pressure to prove a point to his parent club. But unfortunately for him, he could not affect the game much.
It was not much of a different case for Durosinmi, as he was swallowed by the game, as his side was put to the sword by a rampant Inter Milan side.
Rafiu Durosinmi Set To Get More Minutes At Pisa
Rafiu Durosinmi just joined Pisa from Czech club Viktoria Plzen this January, and he has been thrown straight into the action.
He hasn't started a game yet, however, as coach Alberto Gilardino has preferred to start Henrik Meister instead.

But with Meister's recent injury Durosinmi is expected to get more minutes at Pisa in the coming weeks.
This is a great opportunity for him to show coach Gilardino that he can carry tye goalscoring burden of the team as they fight for Serie A survival.
The 23-year-old striker has already scored once this month, and he will be hoping to continue scoring.
