Attacker arrives in Merseyside for Everton transfer as Finch Farm medical now booked - Alan Myers
Chelsea attacker Tyrique George is on Merseyside finalising his loan move to Everton, according to Alan Myers.
David Moyes has been desperate to sign a new winger throughout the winter window, with a host of targets touted to Everton.
However, brick walls and impasses have been hit over the course of the last four weeks or so, with Toffees supporters growing frustrated at the lack of activity at Finch Farm.
But as they say, patience is a virtue, and everyone connected with Everton is set to be finally rewarded for their transfer patience this winter ahead of Monday’s 7 pm deadline.

Alan Myers reveals Tyrique George whereabouts in Everton round-up
It was revealed on Sunday that Everton and Chelsea had struck an agreement over George, with the 19-year-old forward heading for the Hill Dickinson Stadium on loan.
The deal is understood to include an option for Everton to purchase the England youth international, but current details on the size of that fee remain unconfirmed.
And, in an update from Myers on Monday via The True Blue Everton Podcast’s YouTube channel, the journalist has confirmed that George is on Merseyside putting the finishing touches on his Toffees transfer.
“Not an awful lot going on. Nothing that we haven’t already heard of,” Myers began.
“Tyrique George is going to have his medical this afternoon at Finch Farm. He’s already up on Merseyside, so I expect that one to go through without any hitches. That’s a loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.”
Myers then also dropped some further information on what he’s hearing regarding any other potential business at Everton before the deadline.
“As far as anything else coming in, it’s highly unlikely, but you never know. As far as going out, I think possibly one.

“Dwight McNeil is being looked at by Nottingham Forest, and also, possibly, there’s some interest in Nathan Patterson as well from abroad.
“I’m not sure whether either of those two happens, but it’s possible…At least one, I think, will be in the door today.”
Everton surely won’t sanction McNeil move given Grealish blow
Out of the two possible Everton exits that Myers mentions in the shape of McNeil and Patterson, it’s surely the latter of those who would be more likely to leave before 7 pm.
Jack Grealish is expected to miss the rest of the season with a foot injury, and that’s left Moyes’ options out wide depleted significantly.
So, whilst McNeil isn’t enjoying a great season with no goals and just one assist in 14 Premier League games, he’s now surely too valuable in terms of squad depth to let go at this stage of the window.
If Everton were to sanction a deal ahead of the deadline and fail to bring in a replacement, that could have catastrophic consequences if further injuries or suspensions arrive over the second half of the season.
