Plettenberg reports that concrete talks are already ongoing with Diomande’s new representatives at Roc Nation Sports, signaling that the Reds are laying the groundwork for a blockbuster summer move.

The pursuit of the Leipzig starlet is not merely a scouting recommendation; it has received the full backing of FSG and the sporting department.
Plettenberg noted on X that the move has been “approved by all LFC decision-makers,” indicating that the financial package required to lure the winger to Merseyside is being prepared.
However, the path to his signature is far from clear. No official agreement has been reached yet, and Liverpool have not entered formal negotiations with RB Leipzig.

Yan Diomande would be an excellent signing for Liverpool
On paper, Diomande represents the ideal fit. Known for his explosive pace, high-volume dribbling, and clinical finishing from the right flank, the Ivorian international mirrors many of the attributes that made Salah a legend at Anfield.
At just 21, Diomande offers a decade of potential at the highest level. His ability to cut inside on his left foot and provide both goals and assists would allow Liverpool to maintain their attacking identity post-Salah.
