Ex-Everton player shares Grealish wants to stay after what's seen at Hill Dickinson

Jack Grealish has undoubtedly shown his motivation to stay at Everton after being actively involved during his injury layoff.

The England international was sidelined for several months after picking up a knock in January, but hasn’t let that affect the mood around the Toffees.

Former Blues defender Michael Ball is confident about the prospect of the Manchester City loanee’s return to Hill Dickinson Stadium after remaining engaged in the dressing room despite still recovering from his foot fracture.

It feels like the forward wants to be part of the tight-knit group at the Merseyside outfit for the foreseeable future, as evidenced by his messages of support for his teammates in recent weeks.

Moyes would surely love to have Grealish back in L4 for the 2025-26 campaign, but it remains to be seen whether The Friedkin Group can pull off a deal in the summer.

Everton to guarantee Jack Grealish return with Premier League heroics

As things stand, the Toffees are three points behind Liverpool in the Premier League table and face them on 19 April after their trip to Brentford.

The Blues have a chance to close the gap with the Champions League places and potentially qualify for the tournament.

If Moyes manages to make that a reality, Grealish will surely want to return to Hill Dickinson Stadium next season to prove he’s still capable of playing at the top level.

Even a place in the Europa League might be enough to entice the Englishman to continue being a part of the Scottish manager’s squad.

At West Ham United, Moyes brought them European success and there’s no reason he can’t do the same with the right backing at the Merseyside outfit.

Writing in the Liverpool Echo on 31 March, Ball said, “The extent to which he has remained engaged has been impressive and deserves credit. It also makes me feel positive about the chances of him staying at the club — he seems happy and as though he wants to be a part of this great football club.”

Hill Dickinson Stadium may move on after new Jack Grealish deal

Dwight McNeil was close to joining Crystal Palace in the winter transfer window but ended up staying and has managed to find renewed purpose at Everton.

The former Burnley star has put in some exceptional performances in recent matches and received a standing ovation from fans at Hill Dickinson.

McNeil has forced his way back into the starting lineup, but Grealish will certainly be ahead of him in the pecking order.

If Man City come to an agreement with the Blues for the forward, the 26-year-old may feel it’s best to move on despite his recent resurgence.
