Super Eagles midfielder Frank Onyeka has expressed his joy after helping Coventry City secure the Sky Bet Championship title in emphatic fashion, Soccernet.ng reports.

Managed by Frank Lampard, Coventry confirmed their place at the top of the table with a commanding 5-1 victory over Portsmouth at home on Tuesday night. The result sealed the title with two matches still left to play, a competition the club dominated from start to finish.

Looking ahead, Onyeka is expected to remain at Coventry on a permanent basis, with a compulsory buy clause reportedly set at around €7 million triggered by the club’s promotion.
