Ibrox View: Rangers exit news demonstrates key transfer shift under the 49ers
Several Rangers stars have been linked with an exit from Ibrox, and that is actually a good thing.
Only a few months ago, this season was looking like it could be written off entirely, but the appointment of Danny Rohl changed that, with Rangers well and truly in the Scottish Premiership title race.
However, it’s not only the German that the Gers have to thank for that success, and instead several figures within Ibrox.
The 49ers Enterprises have come in for a lot of stick for that period of uncertainty, but the latest exit news showcases exactly why the praise should be just as loud.

Rangers stars being linked with exits is a good thing
Recruitment has been a buzzword at Rangers for years now, and very rarely for the right reasons.
Players have been signed, sometimes for relatively big money, flopped, and then left Ibrox with the Light Blues making a loss.
In that regard, several players come to mind.
However, that has changed entirely this season, and instead, players are being linked with exits for all of the right reasons.
Emmanuel Fernandez is the latest to be linked with a departure from Rangers, and given his performances this season, they won’t want to lose him.
However, having signed him for relatively cheap from Peterborough, for him to have garnered interest from some European giants showcases that the Gers are looking in the right places more often than not from a recruitment perspective.
Several of those who arrived at Ibrox in the summer may be sold within the next six months, and almost all of them would leave at a profit.
If Rangers are to keep progressing at the current rate, that will only bode well for them.
There is one downside for Rangers to consider
Of course, as mentioned above, having these players linked with big-money moves away from Ibrox already can certainly be a good thing.
However, without the right planning in place, it can also be a bad thing.
Rangers have done very well to shift their transfer focus to younger players with higher ceilings, but the 49ers are yet to showcase their ability to plan accordingly for their exits.
The owners at Ibrox have done a wonderful job so far, but that will be their next challenge if any of this interest does materialise into offers.
