Igor Tudor press conference scheduled after Tottenham sack update
Igor Tudor is already under crushing pressure from the Tottenham Hotspur supporters after a woeful start to life in North London.
The former Juventus boss lost his fourth defeat in a row against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, 10 March, with the interim figure under even more scrutiny for his handling of goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky.
There is a growing expectation that Tudor will be sacked before the end of the season, with the likes of Sam Allardyce, Tim Sherwood and Ryan Mason all being linked with the job.
Tottenham will be searching for a new manager in the summer either way, but the hierarchy may have to begin the search much earlier than anticipated due to his four defeats from four games.

Igor Tudor gets to fight for another day at Tottenham
Spurs’ next game is against Liverpool on Sunday, 15 March, with a new update emerging on whether the under-pressure boss after he arrived to take training on the morning of Wednesday, 11 March.
Chief executive, Vinai Venkatesham, also arrived at the training ground, with the figure expected to make a decision on the interim manager’s future.
Taking to X (11 March), Alasdair Gold wrote: “Spurs have confirmed that Igor Tudor is scheduled to take his press conference on Friday afternoon at 1:30pm ahead of the Liverpool match.”
This would suggest that the Lilywhites currently have no plans to sack the 47-year-old, but with fans protesting and lashing out at the club, that could very quickly change at Hotspur Way.
After being thrashed in the Champions League, confidence will be at an all-time low, and it could get even worse, given that the Lilywhites are just one point above the relegation zone.
Who could be appointed as the next Tottenham manager?
The majority of fans are crying out for Mauricio Pochettino to return to North London, but that is unlikely to happen, at least until the 2026 World Cup is over.
Odds on Harry Redknapp coming to Tottenham have been slashed to 20/1, but he is far from the favourite to take over at Hotspur Way despite the development.
Either way, the owners are faced with a major headache when it comes to the figure in the dugout. Tudor was appointed to steer Spurs away from the dropzone, but he has done very little to combat the threat.
In fact, he has done nothing to help the Lilywhites in their quest for Premier League survival, losing to Arsenal, Fulham and Crystal Palace, before being embarrassed in Europe by Atletico.
