John Collins perplexed at something Rangers haven't done this window

Rangers should be all over Motherwell winger Elijah Just in the winter transfer window.

The 25-year-old has had an impressive season at Fir Park, scoring four goals and providing six assists in 20 William Hill Premiership appearances.

Andreas Skov Olsen has moved to Ibrox on loan with an option to buy, but it remains to be seen how the Wolfsburg star will fare in Scotland.

Danny Rohl wants Hansa Rostock striker Ryan Naderi, and it seems clear that the Glaswegian outfit are pushing for more attacking additions before the 2 February deadline, and they have been told to turn their attention to the Motherwell forward.

John Collins baffled Rangers or Celtic haven’t bid for Elijah Just

John Collins has been left seemingly perplexed that the Gers, Celtic, Hibernian or Hearts haven’t made a move for Just.

The former Hoop star has hailed the New Zealand international as a “proper little football player”, urging an offer from Ibrox or the other top teams in the league.

Jens Berthel Askou is doing a brilliant job at Motherwell, with the Steelmen sitting fourth in the table right now, and the Sofascore comparison between the winger and Youssef Chermiti shows the Glaswegian outfit should have him on their radar.

Speaking on talkSPORT on 27 January, Collins said, “Elijah Just, how Celtic, Rangers, Hibs or Hearts have not bought or bid him in this window is beyond me. He’s a proper little football player.”

Tawanda Maswanhise has also been linked with a move to Ibrox, with the Motherwell striker scoring 11 goals in 20 league appearances.

The Fir Park hierarchy will be wary of losing their manager and key players after an impressive season, and the situation in North Lanarkshire will certainly be worth keeping an eye on.

Danny Rohl can replace Ibrox flop with Elijah Just transfer

Oliver Antman has been underwhelming under Rohl, and the forward has been on the sidelines for the last few weeks.

Rangers signed the Finland international for £3.5million last summer from Go Ahead Eagles, scoring six goals and providing 15 assists in 32 Eredivisie appearances in the 2024-25 campaign.

However, it’s safe to say that Antman has failed to live up to expectations in Govan and is struggling to fit into Scottish football.

Just has shown he can make an impact in the William Hill Premiership, and the New Zealand international would undoubtedly be an upgrade for the Glaswegian outfit on the right-wing.
