Tottenham star Lucas Bergvall has been the subject of significant transfer attention in recent months.

What is Bergvall’s contract latest at Tottenham?
Bergvall initially signed a five-year contract with the Lilywhites when he signed in 1 July 2024, but he has already agreed a new deal to extend his stay.
The Swedish star signed a new contract in April 2025, which is not set to expire until 30 June 2031, which puts his future in Spurs’ hands.
The N17 club are very much in control of the situation, as they can demand as high a fee as they like with the contract that he is on, and the time he has left.
What did Bergvall say about Tottenham contract?
Bergvall opened up on his feelings about playing for Spurs after he signed that six-year contract in April, saying that he hopes to “win everything.”
Speaking to the club’s official website, he said: “It’s a club with great ambitions, I’m really enjoying being here and playing for this amazing football club.
“Short-term, Europa League. Of course, the goal is to win everything.”
He and his teammates achieved the short-term goal, and the comments suggest that he is not looking to leave anytime soon.
How much could Tottenham ask for Bergvall?
Tottenham had reportedly put a £57million fee on Bergvall last summer, and were willing to part ways with him, but that is understood not to be the case anymore.
A report from FotbollDirekt on 20 February claims that the amount is no longer enough to convince Spurs to sell the young star, and they are not willing to entertain an exit.
Given how long is left on his contract, it would surely take over £100m, and even then, the Lilywhites could reject that a mammoth offer, if they truly did not want to let him leave.
Right now, he is seen as a vital part of the club’s future, and he is tied down, so any exit talk seems like a very far-fetched possibility.
