Paul Joyce shares if Everton got deal sheet submitted in time to sign Tyrique George in post-deadline move
The winter transfer window has officially shut, and Everton fans will be awaiting confirmation of the signing of Tyrique George.
George looks set to be the only incoming for the Blues, as they desperately need cover in the attacking areas amid Jack Grealish’s injury.
Brooke Norton-Cuffy did emerge as another potential arrival for David Moyes, but the defender has opted to stay in Italy until the end of the season.
With the window officially closed and George not announced, Everton have either finalised the move or they will have had to submit a deal sheet in time.
An update on the status of the transfer has now been shared.

Have Everton submitted a deal sheet for Tyrique George?
George has completed his Everton medical, so now it is only a matter of waiting for the club to finalise the documents and officially announce the signing.
While the deadline did close at 7pm, the Merseyside club can give themselves some added time to finish the necessary details of the deal by submitting a deal sheet.
Paul Joyce has now shared that Everton have submitted a deal sheet, which means they now have until 9pm to finalise the transfer.
The club will now have to move quickly to make sure there are no final hurdles or complications preventing the move.
While the initial deal is on loan, the Toffees have negotiated the deal to include an option to buy come the end of the season.
When could Tyrique George make his Everton debut?
If all goes well, and George’s deal does not hit any sticking points, Everton fans will not have to wait long to see him in action.
The versatile forward could make his debut as early as 7 February against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Fans will have to wait to see him in the Everton jersey at home for a little longer, as the Toffees’ next home games come on 10 February against Bournemouth.
The signing of George was an absolute must following the news that Grealish is set to be sidelined until April.
Moyes has now been given an adequate replacement, and the hope will be that George can replicate the early success that Grealish has shown at Hill Dickinson.
Everton could find themselves in Europe come the end of the season, as they are well and truly in the hunt for those league places.
