Player arrives in Manchester to finalise instant Rangers move - reports
Rangers pursuit of Ryan Naderi has taken another twist on an intense deadline day.
Danny Rohl has identified the Hansa Rostock striker as his main target to bolster the Gers’ struggling forward line.
His current options, Bojan Miovski and Youssef Chermiti have scored eight and four goals respectively, which is simply not enough for a Scottish Premiership title chase.
The Gers were happy to wait for Naderi’s arrival, but the collapse of the Cameron Archer loan deal may have forced them into action.

Naderi set for immediate Rangers switch in new twist
The Ibrox side had agreed a deal to sign Naderi in the summer, but they have now accelerated that, in order to add him now.
Daily Record journalist Andy Newport claimed on 2 February that Naderi arrived at Manchester airport and was heading up to Glasgow to finalise a move.
He stated that the Gers have made a bigger offer to the German side, to sort the transfer instantly, rather than waiting.
The 49ers have put Rangers in pole position for the title
With a striker on the verge of coming in, the 49ers Enterprises group, the Light Blues’ majority owners, have pulled a blinder.
They have added the likes of Tochi Chukwuani, Tuur Rommens and Andreas Skov Olsen before Naderi’s arrival, which should put the Gers in pole position for the title.
The fact that they have offered more money for the German striker to seal the deal now, shows just what is at stake.
If the ownership manages to secure a league championship in their first season in charge, after the horrendous start to their reign with the Russell Martin appointment, it would be brilliant for them and for the supporters.

They have shown that they are willing to make the required changes and show accountability for their mistakes, which is a great quality for them to bring to the Govan club.
Hopefully, it all ends with success at the end of the campaign, and everyone looks back at the decision to appoint Rohl and back him in the market is reflected upon as a masterstroke.
If it does, the fact that they have compromised to bring the eight-goal striker in, may well be the difference maker as they try to overhaul Hearts and Celtic.
