Rangers strike £5m+ agreement for player Rohl pushed for - report

Ryan Naderi’s move to Rangers now looks all but confirmed in the closing stages of the winter market.

Danny Rohl has been after a striker in the transfer market, and it’s taken time, but the German is now set to get his man.

The Bears have been in back-and-forth negotiations with Hansa Rostock, but an agreement has been reached.

The signing of Naderi could very well push Rangers over the line in the race for the Scottish Premiership title.

Ryan Naderi’s Rangers move now considered done deal

Naderi has been in Manchester to complete his medical ahead of a move to the Bears, and the deal now looks done.

There were initial concerns that the number nine wasn’t going to receive the green light from Hansa Rostock in time before the 11pm deadline, but pressures have now been eased.

According to Florian Plettenberg on Monday, Rangers have reached a full agreement for Naderi in the region of £4.75million that includes another £400,000 in potential add-ons.

The German has completed his medical, and Hansa Rostock have a 20 per cent sell-on clause for the forward. The transfer is set to be the “most expensive” sale in the history of Germany’s third tier.

Rohl wanted the forward, and now he’s got him.

When can Naderi make his debut?

Rangers next play Kilmarnock in the league on Wednesday, and Naderi’s debut depends on documents and confirmation.

As of now, the deal has yet to be officially confirmed, although the suggestions are that it’s done.

The attacker should be announced before midnight on Monday, should everything go to plan, but that doesn’t mean he can make his debut against Killie.

Players usually need to be registered by 2pm on the day of a match if it’s a working day, which it is.

But in saying that, Rangers have all of Tuesday and a large part of Wednesday to register Naderi with the Scottish FA before they play at Ibrox. So, the 22-year-old will most likely make his debut with the Bears this week.
