Rohl shares positive injury return timeline for Rangers duo as Motherwell clash looms
Rangers‘ latest bill of health has emerged ahead of facing Motherwell, with Danny Rohl providing an update on Tuur Rommens and Ryan Naderi.
The German and Belgian, both signed in the winter transfer window, had looked to be signings made with the intention of pushing the Bears over the line in the title race.
However, injury blows ahead of the post-split fixtures have threatened to limit the impact they could have this season.
Rommens had emerged as an important cog in Rohl’s new Rangers machine; meanwhile, Naderi had began settling in at Ibrox.
Now, ahead of Rangers’ showdown against Motherwell, manager Rohl has issued an update on the fitness of his squad.

What is the latest on Tuur Rommens and Ryan Naderi?
Ahead of Rangers’ clash against Motherwell, Rohl has confirmed that both Rommens and Naderi will not be available.
But he has issued some positivity surrounding their potential return dates this season.
Rangers vs Motherwell: last five results Score Motherwell vs Rangers – 11 February 2026 1-1 Rangers vs Motherwell – 27 December 2025 1-0 Motherwell vs Rangers – 2 August 2025 1-1 Rangers vs Motherwell – 1 March 2025 1-3 Motherwell vs Rangers – 29 December 2024 2-2
Naderi had travelled with the squad to Spain over their break, and hopes were that he was close to a return.
Now it seems he may be a little further away from a comeback, but the German is still expected to play again this season.
Additionally, Rommens is expected to be available for each of the Scottish Premiership matches following this weekend.
The return of the Belgian is a huge boost for Rangers as they seek silverware this campaign.
Rangers’ record against Motherwell is a concern
Injury news aside, Rohl will be hoping to improve on Rangers’ recent record against the Steelmen.
As the table further up in the article shows, the Gers have just one win in their last five fixtures against Motherwell.
With margins at the top of the table extremely tight, Rangers cannot afford to drop points, with each game a cup final until the end of the season.

The first game of the split is poised to be a banana skin, but one that Rohl simply cannot allow his side to slip on.
Doing so without Rommens, who has added a new dimension to Rangers’ attack, is certainly not ideal.
