Unfortunately for all parties involved, the transfer has not gone as well as they had hoped. Arokodare has struggled for playing time, featuring in 33 games, most of which were as a substitute.

Consequently, he has recorded just six goals and two assists. However, the striker could argue his case, given that he has spent the majority of the season coming off the bench.
The club’s overall performance has been equally poor. Wolves have been relegated from the Premier League with five games still to play, marking a season to forget for the fans and a dismal end to their eight-year stay in the English top flight.
A Forced Signing: Why Tolu Arokodare Was Signed in The First Place

A recent report by Molineux News revealed that former Wolves coach Vitor Pereira, who began the season with the club, never actually wanted Arokodare on his roster.
But unfortunately for him, it turned out that the sporting director Domenico Teti forced the player on the Portuguese coach, who eventually budged. This explains why the Nigerian striker lacked consistent playing time during Pereira's tenure.
According to Molineux News' Tom Procter: “One man who now looks to be a very regrettable signing for Wolves is Tolu Arokodare.”

With Wolves now relegated to the Championship, it is highly likely that Arokodare will leave this summer. He is already attracting interest from the Turkish Süper Lig, with Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray reportedly in the mix.
