Thomas Frank could get ultimate Tottenham gift as Leon Goretzka decision hours away
Tottenham have reportedly entered the race to sign Leon Goretzka.
It looks set to be a busy final few days of the winter transfer window at Tottenham, with Thomas Frank eager to get one or two more signings through the door.
Tottenham are reportedly readying a move for Victor Munoz, with the 22-year-old Osasuna forward possessing a £34million release clause.
Meanwhile, Spurs are said to be interested in Sunderland goalkeeper Robin Roefs, as Frank looks for a long-term Guglielmo Vicario replacement.
On the flip side, Randal Kolo Muani’s future at Tottenham is in major doubt, and he could leave N17 before the 2 February deadline.

Tottenham join Leon Goretzka race with decision ‘hours’ away
Another department that Frank may be looking to strengthen in before the deadline is midfield, despite the fact Conor Gallagher has signed for Spurs this month.
Injuries are ravaging Frank’s central midfield options, with Joao Palhinha, James Maddison, Lucas Bergvall and Rodridgo Bentancur all facing lengthy spells on the sidelines.
That leaves just Yves Bissouma, Archie Gray, Pape Sarr, Xavi Simons and Gallagher as the current available options, and as such, another new face may be required to shore that group up for the remainder of the season.
And, in a post by Marca reporter Matteo Moretto via X on Wednesday, it is reported that Tottenham have enquired over the possibility of signing Bayern Munich midfielder Goretzka in the last few hours.

Moretto states that Atletico Madrid are also interested in the 30-year-old, who is out of contract with Bayern this summer.
It is, however, reported that Bayern are still undecided on what to do with Goretzka, but that they will come to a decision “in the next few hours” over whether he can leave this winter.
Goretzka would be a superb signing for Tottenham
At this late stage of any winter window, players as decorated and with as much proven quality as Goretzka are seldom available for other clubs to sign.
The German international has represented his country 67 times, scoring 15 goals, having been awarded his first senior cap all the way back in 2014.
As for his time with Bayern, he’s only won the six Bundesliga titles, five German Super Cup’s, two DFB Pokal’s (league cup), one Champions League, one UEFA Super Cup and a Club World Cup.
With his contract expiring in the summer too, Tottenham could be primed to bag the experienced central midfielder at a bargain price, and he should still have a number of quality years left in his boots.
