Tottenham deadline day round-up at lunchtime: Jhon Duran transfer on cards as checks being made
Tottenham could be in for a busy few hours amid links to Fenerbahce striker Jhon Duran on Monday.
Thomas Frank will be hoping to sign a few more players to improve the squad of his squad, which currently sits 14th in the Premier League.
While Spurs’ comeback against Manchester City to secure a point in the 2-2 draw was encouraging, there’s clearly a dearth of quality at the Danish manager’s disposal.
There seems to be a particular emphasis on the attacking department going through a mini-overhaul soon, and the former Aston Villa centre-forward may be on his way to N17 before the 2 February deadline.

Jhon Duran an option for Tottenham if Randal Kolo Muani joins Juventus
Duran’s name has been mentioned at Tottenham as a potential replacement for Randal Kolo Muani, according to Dean Jones.
The TEAMtalk journalist has claimed that Juventus are pursuing a deal for the French striker, but Spurs have no intention to sanction the forward’s exit from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
However, in case the 27-year-old leaves, the North London outfit will have to sign a new number nine, with Duran emerging as an option.

The 22-year-old Colombia international was a hot property during his spell at Aston Villa, but he hasn’t hit the heights expected since leaving the Premier League, as evidenced by his Sofascore stats.
Spurs to make one last attempt for Andy Robertson deal
Tottenham are expected to make one final check on Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson before the 7pm deadline, according to football.london.
The news outlet reports that while Spurs’ main focus is on reinforcing their attack in the coming hours, they”re still monitoring the Scotland international’s situation at Anfield.
While the North London outfit have agreed a deal in principle with the Reds for the 31-year-old, it remains to be seen what the future holds for him, but the defender would certainly add solidity to their backline, considering his Sofascore record from this season.

Liverpool are waiting to see whether they can bring Konstantinos Tsimikas back from his loan spell at Roma before signing off on Robertson’s exit.
Antonin Kinksy going nowhere amid West Ham United interest
West Ham United have indeed expressed interest in signing Antonin Kinsky from Tottenham, according to Sky Sports.
The news outlet reports that while the Hammers have the Czechia goalkeeper on their radar, Spurs have no intention of parting ways with him at this stage.
It looks like Kinsky, 22, won’t be leaving the North London outfit anytime soon despite struggling for game time under Frank this season.

Guglielmo Vicario hasn’t really set the world alight with his performances for the Lilywhites this season, and it makes sense to keep the former Slavia Prague shot-stopper, with Brandon Austin the only other backup.
