“A big miss”- Ex-Tottenham midfielder reveals what makes Ola Aina unique at Nottingham Forest
Former Tottenham midfielder Andy Reid has praised Ola Aina’s impact at Nottingham Forest following his return from injury, Soccernet.ng reports.
Last season, Aina established himself as one of the Premier League's standout full-backs, playing a pivotal role in Nottingham Forest's impressive Europa League finish.
His brilliance even sparked links to Manchester City, though he ultimately chose to sign a contract extension at the City Ground.

While he started the current campaign strongly, a hamstring injury in September sidelined him until January. In his absence, Nicolò Savona filled in, but the team's form dipped during that period.
Since returning to full fitness, Aina has been a mainstay in the Tricky Trees lineup. His impact has been clear, as the team has shown much greater resilience, losing only two of their last five matches in normal time.

Last weekend, Aina was a standout performer in the 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace. He delivered a disciplined defensive masterclass to keep the Eagles at bay, especially after Nico Williams was sent off just before halftime.
Andy Reid Hails Ola Aina's Impact At Nottingham Forest
Following Ola Aina's performances for Nottingham Forest, former Tottenham man Andy Reid has praised the Super Eagles star.
“He's (Aina) a big plus for this team coming back in. What he does, not just defensively but what he does going forward as well and then you couple that with the personality that he brings in,” Reid told Sky Sports.
“He was a big miss when he was out and he definitely brings that personality, brings that defensive solidity, his pace but also going forward is a real threat as well. So Sean will be delighted to get him.”
Recall that Reid also had a ten-year stint at the City Ground and other English clubs like Sunderland and Sheffield United.

Meanwhile, Aina will be looking to continue shining for Nottingham Forest. They currently sit 17th on the Premier League table, but they will be looking to improve on their league placement before the season ends.
