View: Igor Tudor really risks sack now as Tottenham records tumble after Nottingham Forest rout
Tottenham Hotspur set more unwanted records in their 3-0 defeat to relegation rivals Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon.
Spirits had lifted somewhat after a battling point at Liverpool and a 3-2 win over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League ahead of the visit of Forest.
But those hopes evaporated at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when the Tricky Trees scored through Igor Jesus, Morgan Gibbs-White, and Taiwo Awoniyi.
Forest leapfrogged Tottenham into 16th in the Premier League table, casting further doubt on interim boss Igor Tudor’s future.
Tudor has only been in charge for seven games at Tottenham, but after this Forest setback, the decision will be whether to stick or twist with their manager.

Tottenham reach new lows after Nottingham Forest loss
Tottenham remain just one point above the relegation zone after 18th-placed West Ham lost 2-0 to Aston Villa on Sunday.
And while they are just outside of the bottom three, this game was a huge opportunity, and they lost in spectacular fashion.
Tottenham’s key stats Nottingham Forest’s key stats Possession 58.9% Possession 41.1% Expected Goals: 1.14 Expected Goals: 1.48 Shots and shots on target: 14/3 Shots and shots on target: 8/7 Goalkeeper saves: 4 Goalkeeper saves: 3
Incidentally, according to OptaJoe, Tottenham have won just 30 points from 31 Premier League games this season, which is their joint-lowest return since 1914-15.
Spurs haven’t won in the league since a 1-0 victory away at Crystal Palace on 28 December back when Thomas Frank was still in charge.
Moreover, this is just the third time that Tottenham have lost by three goals or more at home to a side starting the day in 17th or lower in the Premier League.
Tottenham now have quite a long time to stew on this defeat as the Premier League will pause for the March international break.
Spurs are next in action away to Sunderland on 12 April in what is a must-not-lose encounter.
Igor Tudor’s future hangs by a thread
After Tottenham’s dire display against Forest, speculation has mounted again that Tudor could be replaced as interim boss.
The Croatian has picked up just one point in five Premier League games and has won just once in seven matches in all competitions.
The sack-threatened 47-year-old is facing increasing scrutiny, but he was unable to talk about Tottenham’s latest setback due to a family bereavement.

Instead, his assistant, Bruno Saltor, spoke to the media following the defeat.
The former Chelsea coach said: “Personal matters, family matters, and I am stepping in as it is not the right time for him [Tudor] to speak.”
Tottenham’s survival is still in their hands, just about. But it remains to be seen if Tudor will still be in the dugout when the Premier League returns next month.
