Paul Onuachu set for special club assignment after Super Eagles’ game against Jordan

Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu is set for a big task at Trabzonspor following Nigeria's clash against Jordan on Tuesday, Soccernet.ng reports.

​The 31-year-old forward is expected to lead the line for Nigeria in their second friendly of the international break.

He will be looking to produce the goods for coach Eric Chelle to ensure the Super Eagles claim a victory.

​However, Onuachu will also have one eye on his club duties. The Black Sea Storm, are currently in the heat of the Süper Lig title race and face a very important showdown against league leaders Galatasaray this weekend.

​Given the caliber of talent on both rosters, the match is expected to be a fierce encounter. Trabzonspor desperately need a positive result to remain in title contention.

A win would bring them within a single point of the Cimbom, even though Galatasaray holds a game in hand.

On the other hand, a defeat would leave them trailing by seven points, significantly weakening their championship hopes.
