Rangers vs Dundee United injury and suspension latest as four players could miss out
Rangers welcome Dundee United to Ibrox on Saturday as the Gers look to continue their title charge.
With two matches remaining before the split, Danny Rohl‘s side are aiming to keep in touch with league leaders Hearts, who sit just three points ahead at the top of the standings.
Heading into the international break, the Govan side secured a fantastic 4-1 win against Aberdeen on home soil, looking to pile the pressure on the league leaders regarding goal difference.

Big injury question at Ibrox after Danny Rohl reveal
Bailey Rice remains the only long-term absentee for Saturday’s hosts, with the midfielder continuing to recover from a big knee injury sustained last year.
Speaking ahead of the match, Rohl confirmed that Andreas Skov Olsen has been training, after missing the win against Aberdeen.

Though in intriguing fashion, the Rangers boss revealed that one member of his squad will miss Saturday’s outing at Ibrox, though he remained tight-lipped when discussing who that is.
“We have some small issues and one bigger issue,” Rohl told the media at his press conference.
“One player is going to be out for tomorrow. I won’t speak today about who it is. It is a big shame. It happened during training.
“Hopefully he comes back before the split but it looks more like it could be during the split.”
On the other side, Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin shared an update on his squad.
Speaking on the experienced Johnny Russell, Goodwin confirmed that Saturday comes too soon for the 35-year-old.
“The game has come too soon for Johnny, I’m afraid,” he said. “He was desperate to be a part of things, but the injury was a setback for him.”
Alongside this, Pan Camara could miss the clash after being restricted to a light session on Thursday after returning from international duty with Guinea-Bissau.
That means four players in total are either ruled out are doubtful for the contest.
Rangers have the chance to make big pre-split statement
In their last home outing before the split, Rohl’s side have the chance to make a big statement.
Beating Aberdeen 4-1 before the break, the Gers are in a strong position when it comes to their goal difference, and this is something that they must focus on again as they welcome a side to Ibrox for the final time before the season’s crunch point.

Hearts have looked unfazed at the top of the standings for large parts of the season, but with matches against both of the Old Firm remaining, the sides behind the Jambos will be looking to pile on the pressure heading into the split.
Visitors, Dundee United sit seventh in the standings, making it a far from presentable fixture, though as Rangers did against Aberdeen before the break, they have to make a big statement on home soil ahead of the final match against Falkirk.
